Toursi Experience was born from a group of people and local businesses who chose to live Tursi and tell its story to those who arrive. You don’t buy a package here: the trip is built piece by piece, tailored to the person taking it.
You walk through the alleys of the Rabatana and go down into the 16th-century crypt, step into the house of the poet Albino Pierro, climb up to the convent of San Francesco and cross the calanchi, which look like a lunar landscape. Then you sit down at the table: peperoni cruschi, preserves in oil, olive oil, traditional wines and liqueurs, sweets made with local produce. Anyone who wants to get hands-on can do so in the workshops, from preserves to sweets, or head into the fields to gather wild herbs.
A whole day with «Tursi in a Day», three days and two nights with the «Full Experience», or a route you put together yourself: every choice becomes part of the story.
