Maria started out as a barista fifteen years ago, behind the counter of the Eni service station on the Basentana road. There she learned the trade one coffee at a time, and carried it on with passion and dedication.
On 23 March 2015 she took her biggest step: Tursi’s new service station was born, and Maria built it from scratch, piece by piece, her own way.
Since then she has welcomed everyone passing through. If you’re coming from a long journey, this is your stop before entering Tursi: get out of the car, catch your breath, enjoy a moment of calm. Just a few more minutes and you’re in town.
Queens Caffè isn’t in the centre, and that’s exactly its advantage: a large car park right in front of the entrance, also for coaches and lorries, and a welcome all its own before you discover the town.
